What do we do?

​

We investigate and treat newborns as well as children and adolescents up to 18 years with many different symptoms, for example:

​

​

  • Allergies and intolerances

  • Asthma Asthmatic bronchitis and other respiratory problems

  • Children's eczema

  • Hyposensitization against allergies with pills (grass (from >5 years of age), dust mites (from >12 yeas of age).

  • Headaches (migraine and tentiontype headache and other headaches)

  • Epilepsy

  • Ticks, Tourette Syndrome and other involuntary movement disorders - stereotypies

  • Delayed development

  • Spasticity

  • Genetic syndromes

  • Cranium abnormalities

  • Growth retardation or over-growth problems 

  • Puberty abnormalities (early/delayed)

  • Heart murmurs

  • Frequent infections

  • Hypermobility, flatfeet or other muscular problems

  • lack of decending testis

  • Abdominal pain

  • Urinary problems including recurrent urinary infections

  • Constipation and diarrhea and other related problems

1. Consultation

At your first consultation we spend a good amount of time, usually 45 minutes.


We take a thorough medical history - which investigations has previously been done and which are needed. A physical examination of the child is always carried out.

Please bring an overview of every medication including creams that the child gets.

Please bring all the data you have regarding the child's growth (height, weight and main scope) eg the Child's Book and the school health nurse records. See below what to bring each time.

Your preparation

It is important that you prepare well for the consultations so that you get the most out of the time we spend together.

 

By preparation, we refer to you bringing along the following documents at the consultation, if possible:

  • The patient's medical card

  • Alle measurements regarding height and weight and headcirkumference.

  • Please fill out the consent-form and bring it with you at the 1 consultation - click here

  • Please fill out the  information form -  click here

  • Please fill out other relevant forms -  click here

  • Please bring the patient's medical history (at the 1. consultation)

 

And if you have any other documents you find relevant, please bring them as well. 

 

It is important that you read the clinics privacy policy before coming to the first consultation (GDPR adolescents (>15years), GDPR parents).

Nb. children below 18teen years of age should all ways be followed by the parent/person who has custody. If this is not possible - the child and person accompanying the child should always bring af signed authority from the parent/person who has custody. This is a legal requirement.
